TGF mermaid

Welcome to my blog!

This time I put together a card with a stamp of the brand that I love The Greeting Farm, Merisa Mermaid can find it by clicking here.

To make my background always or usually I start from a blank sheet, I love to create background !!! I think it's my warhorse. For the panel use watercolor paper which will paint with water using a clean brush and in an acrylic square place inks distress ink the color broken china and I painted the background until a uniform color. I give you a tip to work this type of technique you should use a board to use watercolor which fixed with masking tape so that the paper does not bend and work better. They can dry it with the heat gun but they like to wait.

Once the watercolor paper panel has dried, I glue it onto a second panel of heavy paper. Before the watercolor panel cut the sides 0.25 inches to be able to arm the bottom without passing me the measures of the card. The entire panel will be double-taped to the card base,

To color my mermaid use the markers of the brand First Edition Craft Twin Markers, the colors you use are

Place my beloved sequins in the form of a star, always use odd as the human eye loves the elements of odd numbers. To finish use the phrase that comes with the stamp and stamp it with memento black ink. I always like to highlight the white point of the eye with white ink pen I think the detail looks great.

I hope you will enjoy this card as much as I do.
